First, I agree that Java Applets are as good as dead. Realistically, they suck big time.

Flash was the Applets nemesis however - not Flex. Applets were got their death sentence long before Flex came along.

Also, I don't see how JSP corroltates to Applets or Flex for that matter? It's like saying "cars (JSP) will become extinct because the colour blue (Applets) is no longer available".</description>
